Don't miss it

I heard a radio DJ recently say that you can either capture the moment or you can experience the moment.  I don't believe that.  I think it is fun to capture moments on camera and then be able to look back on them.  This is a picture I took the other morning as the sun was coming up.  Glad I did...the sky looked totally different a few minutes later.

And here are more moments that I'm glad I didn't miss...

And speaking of missing things...I'm glad I was open and available to babysit for a good friend of mine one day last week.  Clarice and I got to play with baby Abraham for three hours.  I'm glad I didn't miss this opportunity!  This is a picture with him in the background.  I sometimes feel funny about photographing other people's kids, but I still wanted to take some sort of a picture.

One day last week Lance was having a rough time at Speech/OT.  His OT teacher had him color a picture and hand it to me in the waiting room.  It was so cute.  Thankfully he started having a better attitude and did great the rest of the session.

And be sure to stay tuned for our February project.  You don't want to miss it!  I'm working on the bonus room shelves.   Here is a picture of Clarice sanding some wood.

Talk to you all soon!

    1. I'm really glad you are doing the project. :)

  2. You know I am all about the "capturing the moments." Probably a bit to extreme sometimes. Haha! And that first picture of Clarice is just stunning. Was she wearing some makeup? If so, she looks too cute. If not, just wow to her eyes! Gorgeous either way!

    1. I let her wear lipstick sometimes but no eye makeup. She just has really long dark lashes right now. :)
