2016 Women of Faith

Well I had the honor of attending the Atlanta 2016 Women of Faith Conference this past weekend.  It was my first time attending anything like this.  It was amazing.  A little faith was certainly required to even get there because some snow was in the forecast and everything in the Atlanta metro area was shutting down on Friday afternoon.  Thankfully I rode with some ladies from church.  We stayed at a hotel on Friday night.  The conference was Friday night and all day Saturday.
This was the Farewell Tour, so now I'm really glad I attended and was able to get to know the "Porch Pals."  I'm guessing that if you have ever attended one of these Women of Faith conferences, the words "Porch Pals" brings a big smile to your face!  These speakers were inspiring and hilarious.  The music praise team was great too.

Just being in the big city was so much fun.  And yes, we did end up seeing a few snow flakes...eventually.

It was nice going out to eat at a few restaurants.  I tried to stay healthy though...
When we returned from lunch on Saturday we got to hear the Christian music group Building 429.  They were stunning!
I had not realized this until we got there, but it was the first time I had been to downtown Atlanta in three years.  I really need to get out more!  I know it would be really difficult for all four of us to go, but I think some fun adventures for Lance and I would be great....maybe even riding the new Street Car train.

Well, thank you all for sharing in a very rare Kelly-Belly adventure.  I hope you all have a blessed week!
