Holiday happenings

Hey there, I hope you all are having a great day.  We're on a Christmas break from school here, but on school day mornings I always ask, "who is ready to have a great day?"  Lance always replies, "great day!"  It is so cute!  Well, here is what we've been up to lately...

We have enjoyed lots of hanging out in the carport....there is a very convenient puddle that forms at the end of the driveway on rainy days.  We have been in the carport so much that I actually wrapped a few presents out there while stacking everything on top of my car.

We are happy to no longer have refrigerator drama...we now have the new one in (Merry Christmas to us!), and Matt made us an extra shelf.

On this past Saturday we enjoyed opening presents and singing Christmas songs with Matt's parents.

I finally finished sewing a Christmas quilt / blanket.  We are hanging it on the wall for now and will later just use it for a blanket.

After church on Sunday we opened more presents that we received from the kid's Sunday School teachers.
I love how Lance's feet are in the background in the next one...

I hope you all have a great week.  Merry Christmas!

  1. Oh look, Matt grew feet on his back! Haha! I love that little Christmas quilt wall hanging. I would love to try quilting again. I haven't done that in so long. Maybe I can find some Christmas fabric to make a Christmas blanket or wall display. Thanks for the inspiration! Clarice is just a doll baby in that dress. I love that green! :-)

    1. I ordered the Very Hungry Caterpillar fabric from Fabric.Com. It is so cute!
My mother-in-law bought the green dress for her...just a little! :)

  2. I love Clarice's dress, the Merry Christmas quilt, and the fact that you wrapped some presents in the carport! Love it!
