Halloween 2015

Hey there, hope you all are doing well.  We've had lots of extended family stuff going on this week.  On my side, one of my family members is caring for three girls from their church because their only living parent is in the hospital.  On my husband's side, an out of state relative passed away.  Needless to say, we have a lot to be thankful for.  I just can't imagine what all these folks are going through but all I can do is pray, send cards, and bring snacks (to the local folks).

So other than running errands like a crazy person, I'm pretty much doing ok.  Matt had the day off yesterday which we were all really thankful for.  It is so nice to have the extra help.  I was able to take Lance to school and then get a few things done during the day.  Matt and Clarice and I all went out to lunch.  It was a little hectic and we basically had to take turns eating and holding her...and taking pictures.

This Halloween is a little different for us since we no longer have chocolate in the house.  To make a long story short, these little ones just can't handle their sugar...lol!  So we're hanging out here at the house and handing out boxes of raisins.  Lance has a fireman's hat and Clarice looks cute in just about anything...

I know it doesn't look like it from the pictures, but CC isn't feeling well.  I'm going to go give her a bath and some Tylenol.  Then, it's cuddle time and handing out raisins.  I hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!  Love you!

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that CC is sick :( Boo. And yes, I can't wait until all the Hallowe'en candy is GONE. Of course, I don't know how I will bribe the kids into good behaviour without it!

  2. Can't handle their chocolate...haha! I don't think I can either. ;-) If it is in the house, I simply can't resist it. Sigh. Thankfully, I will have eaten all the Halloween chocolate soon (with a little help) so maybe I can get back on track. Glad you guys had a fun Halloween!

VBS 2018...Game On!

In all honesty, I wasn't really looking forward to VBS this year.  I've worked with nice people over the last few years, but some...
